The Lucky Pig Wins National Recognition for Our Tom Kha Chicken Sausage!

At The Lucky Pig, we take pride in crafting unique and flavour-packed sausages, and this year, our hard work has paid off in a big way! We’re thrilled to announce that our Tom Kha Chicken Sausage has been awarded 3rd place at the 2024 National AMIC Sausage King Awards—making us one of only two Victorian butchers to bring home a national award this year!

A Taste of Victory: Tom Kha Chicken Sausage

Our Tom Kha Chicken Sausage is inspired by the classic Thai dish Tom Kha Gai, featuring a fragrant blend of coconut, lemongrass, galangal, and spices. It’s a sausage that delivers bold, aromatic flavours with a perfect balance of creamy and zesty notes—something truly unique in the world of snags!

After being crowned Victoria’s Best Poultry Sausage, it went up against the best in the country at the National Sausage King Awards—and it delivered, securing 3rd place nationwide!

One of Victoria’s Finest

This year, only two awards came home to Victoria, and we’re honoured to be one of the butchers representing our state on the national stage. It’s a huge achievement and a testament to the passion and craftsmanship that goes into everything we make at The Lucky Pig.
